Ladybug

A few weeks ago I made this ladybug cake for Hadley's second birthday. It was a really fun cake to make because when I was finished this cute little thing was looking back up at me.

Happy Birthday, Jackson

J-man's first birthday was in September and, being the little athlete he is, a sports theme was only appropriate for his celebration. Here's a look at the cupcakes and cake I made for his big bash!

Happy Birthday, T Fitch!

This is the jersey cake I made in honor of T Fitch's 30th birthday. It was a baseball-themed party. You can see more of the party's details here.

Stella Neal is One

Our good friends' daughter, Stella, turned one in April! The theme of the party was cupcakes (with darling invitations that said "our little cupcake is turning one!"). I made a few dozen cupcakes for the soiree, in addition to an oversized cupcake and an individual cake for the birthday girl. Here's a picture of how they were displayed at the party.

Happy Birthday Deer

A friend of mine from work asked me to make this cake for her boyfriend's birthday. He's an avid hunter - hence the deer with the arrow. Please note this isn't just any deer; it's a white-tailed deer. Props to Pamela for making the arrow!

Happy Birthday, Hadley!

Last weekend I created a cake for a friend's daughter's first birthday. She wanted the cakes to coordinate with the party's invitation. Here's a look at the final product.

Happy Birthday, Ethan!

Sabrina asked me to make her nephew, Ethan's, first birthday cake. The party was John Deere themed, so here's the creation for the one-year-old.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Addison

I was thrilled to once again make the cake for Addison's birthday, as I made her first birthday cake. This year, her celebration was Yo Gabba Gabba. Her cake  featured her favorite character, Foofa. Foofa is apparently "pink and happy" (per YGG's Web site) which means Foofa is my therefore favorite character as well.

McKenna's Birthday Luau

I made a super fun cake for McKenna's second birthday - a luau - that went really well with the super cute invites Sabrina designed!

A weekend of cakes

This weekend I had made three cakes: one for Charlotte's first birthday, one for Stella's baptism and one for a baby shower my sister-in-law threw. Photos below!

Congrats Parker, Kylie and Peter!

Oh what fun, Parker is one!
Oh what a joy, Kylie and Peter are having a boy!

That was the theme of the celebration in Kansas City last weekend. The joint party honored Parker's first birthday and Kylie & Peter's future son! It was very fun to make the festive cakes and cupcakes for this soiree.

Happy First Birthday, Camdyn!

I love this tradition! Nicole and her sister had Barbie cakes for their first birthdays, Nicole's mom had a Barbie cake for her first birthday and Nicole's grandma had a Barbie cake for her first birthday! It's only appropriate little Camdyn had a Barbie cake for her first birthday to carry on the tradition.

The other cakes are the birthday girl's own cake and another cake for the rest of the guests. (Camdyn is one popular chick!)

Happy Birthday, McKenna!

McKenna Miller celebrated her first birthday on July 8th and I was thrilled to make the cakes for the party - one for the birthday girl herself and one for the guests. McKenna really enjoyed digging in with her hands!

Addison is One!

Addison loves Elmo and he just HAD to be at her first birthday party!
